The nostalgic atmosphere that I often visited during my student days remains unchanged, and the moment I sit down, I feel relieved. The most popular dish, grilled pork skewers, pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the onions and a slightly spicy sauce, making it a flavor that naturally encourages drinking. The tsukune (chicken meatballs) have a crunchy texture from the onions, making them delicious enough to eat like rice dishes. The original zangi (fried chicken) and agedashi tofu have a light batter, and the inside is juicy, bringing a smile to my face. The menu is rich with options like ramen salad, chicken zosui (rice soup), and yakisoba (fried noodles), all seasoned with the same careful flavor as in the past. The warm conversations with the master, maintaining a comfortable distance, make me lose track of time in this cozy atmosphere.
