I searched for a place to try court cuisine and found this restaurant. I made a reservation and was able to enter smoothly. The atmosphere of the restaurant, which feels historical, and the well-maintained garden scenery are lovely. A person who speaks Japanese explained the dishes to me, and the seasoning was gentle, making everything delicious. The staff's response was also polite and left a good impression. I had heard the portions were large, so I went with an empty stomach, but I still ended up leaving some food, which I felt sorry about. The dishes that the emperor also enjoyed were made with the emperor's health in mind, creating good memories of Korea. This is a place I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

May 2026 In the evening, I had Sura. There were many dishes, and I approached it with a hungry stomach, but I ended up leaving some... Everything was delicious. From the entrance of the restaurant to the ambiance, it was charming, and the staff were polite and kind. I was able to communicate in Japanese well enough to enjoy my meal with peace of mind, and it became a good memory. Thank you very much.

I had wanted to try Korean set meals for a long time, and while searching online, I came across this restaurant. I haven't tried Korean set meals from other places, so I can't compare, but I was mostly satisfied with the atmosphere and taste of the restaurant. I ordered the dinner course of 'Gujun-sura', and everything had a gentle taste that was considerate of health, and it was really delicious from the appetizers to the dessert. However, there was a lot of food, and I couldn't finish it, and it was a bit disappointing that the firm Yukhoe was slightly frozen. When I conveyed this in broken Korean using a translation app, they immediately offered to exchange it or replace it with another dish, but I declined since there was so much food. However, I appreciated their response. Due to the weak yen, the prices are somewhat high, but I would recommend it to those who want to enjoy the unique atmosphere and flavors of Korea, aside from grilled meat and kimchi, within a limited time from Japan, and I would like to go again if I have the chance.

It was a very nice day with beautiful greenery and flowers, and I took photos before and after entering the restaurant. The food had more volume than I expected, and I was full. I was glad to choose the second item from the top of the lunch menu. Everything was beautiful and delicious. There was another group besides us. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm. I would like to go again if I have the chance.

The staff were also very good at Japanese, and although I had my meal in the new building, when I mentioned that I had heard it was a traditional house, they guided me to a place that resembled an old mansion. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but there was no lunch course, only dinner courses. A fluent Japanese-speaking woman recommended the most expensive course, but considering the portion size, I chose the second course. As expected, it was just right. It was said to be court cuisine, so I couldn't compare it to other dishes, but it was generally delicious. Most of the local people use it for engagements or anniversaries, like a Japanese ryotei (traditional restaurant). Because of this, I was shown to a private room, but it was quite noisy, and it was fortunate that I didn't understand the language. It is far from the station, and due to the slope, taking a taxi is essential.
