This is a hidden Japanese restaurant located on the upper floors of a mixed-use building in Nakasu. The entrance has a snack bar vibe, but once inside, the calm counter area is the main feature and very comfortable. You can enjoy seasonal fish and vegetables, as well as meat, all of which reflect careful preparation. The chawanmushi with plum and the sashimi platter (which includes horse meat and whale) are particularly impressive, with the whale being very tender and full of flavor. The homemade tartar sauce pairs well with the fried oysters, and the fried kanpachi was crispy. The warm atmosphere created by the parent-child team, along with the counter layout that includes box seats for a small number of guests, ensures satisfaction from the first small dish to the last.
