It's a hidden gem located deep in a residential area, and following the sign to get there is quite enjoyable. The road is narrow, but the entrance with a noren (fabric divider) and the garden create a very calming atmosphere. The coarsely ground soba (buckwheat) has a fragrant aroma that spreads gently, and I was impressed by how I could really taste the sweetness of the soba. Not only soba, but there is also udon, and I’m happy that I can enjoy it as mori (cold) or kake (hot). The clear broth with thin, chewy udon has a great texture, and the combination of bonito flakes, seaweed, and myoga (Japanese ginger) works well together. The parking space is limited, so if you approach calmly, you can have a pleasant experience.
