Reservations

I went with my wife. I made a reservation so that we could go after the live performance at Nippon Budokan. I wanted to go because it was featured in a special on oden in the magazine 'Sarai.' Since it is a restaurant frequented by the late Akira Nakao and his wife Shino, there was a framed picture drawn by Mr. Nakao titled 'Kite, Fly Up to the Sky,' which moved me. Every oden, thoroughly infused with broth, was exquisite. The daikon was especially delicious. I was also touched by the thoughtful care of the owner. I had a great conversation with a group of four men at the next table. Overall, it was a night that will remain in my memory and on my palate.
