Authentic Indian cuisine by the lakeside

The Spice Hut is a cozy Indian restaurant located by the shores of Lake Kawaguchi. The spacious interior offers beautiful views of the lake. The menu features curries infused with rich spices and generously sized naan, promising delightful flavors. The butter chicken and cheese naan come highly recommended.

Located on the second floor of a building by the lake, the view from the window is very pleasant. The interior has a spacious layout with plenty of seats, allowing for a relaxed experience. The curry has a smooth texture, and the sweetness and richness of the onions, along with the finely sliced ginger, provide a nice accent. The mutton is boneless and easy to eat, with several large chunks that are satisfying. The naan has a subtle sweetness and is impressively sized, and the cheese naan was particularly fragrant and my favorite. There are sets that come with salad and drinks, and you can adjust the spiciness, plus you can also choose pizza or pasta, making it enjoyable to savor along with the scenery.
