The seats were wooden chairs with handwritten menus and other information on the wall, giving it a very Showa-era feel. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a very cold-looking older brother. He looks scary, but he kindly gives us his recommendations and is a nice staff member. The nabe is of course delicious and the soup stock is excellent. And the best part was that the older brother was kind enough to see us off.
