It was good to be able to eat a lot of different foods and of course they tasted great. The fresh makgeolli was also great! I couldn't finish the chicken soup at the end, but I was glad that they made it for me to take home. We enjoyed it the next day. The staff was wonderful, and I am talking with my friends who went with me about going back again.

Sanggitang is so delicious that I couldn't stop laughing - "Hanmi Ichi Park Residence" - | Kitanimeshi.com Hanmi Ichi Park Residence is a restaurant where you can enjoy a full course meal of Korean cuisine based on Korean court cuisine. We visited the restaurant because we heard that the famous "samgyetang" was delicious, and we were shocked to find that it was just as we had imagined, or even better. This is a famous restaurant tucked away on Yotsubashisuji Street. Let us tell you about its charm. Walk north on Yotsubashisuji Street for 5 minutes after getting out of Exit 25 of Hommachi Station. The restaurant is located in a quiet place across from Utsubo Park. The high-class nameplate is nice. It makes you feel excited. The entrance is on the basement floor. Interior view There are 6 seats at tables, 12 seats at sunken kotatsu, and 2 private rooms, for a total of 26 seats. The private rooms can accommodate up to 8 people and are ideal for dates and business entertainment. Private rooms can also be reserved for various occasions. The restaurant's elegant interior is decorated with the autographs of many celebrities. Hanmi Ichi Park Residence Full Course ... 7,000 yen You can enjoy the same course that has been loved for 40 years at the main Hanmi Ichi restaurant in Tsuruhashi. There are four courses ranging from ¥5,000 to ¥8,000. This time, I ordered the full course priced at ¥7,000. Assorted appetizers The following is a list of appetizers (not all of them may be available). Korean seaweed tsukudani Kimchi with Chinese cabbage Namul (bean sprouts) Namul potherb mustard Namul myoga Japchae Cajun crab cajun ginseng sashimi pork cheek Sannatch Korean food is characterized by spiciness. However, the only appetizer that I felt spicy was the Chinese cabbage kimchi. The rest of the dishes were full of flavor. The Namul, which is a simple yet richly seasoned dish, and the Ginseng Sashimi, which is enjoyed with honey, are all unique and tasty ingredients. Let me introduce two dishes that particularly caught my attention. Sannatch. This is octopus dancing and eating. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it takes courage to forcefully eat an octopus that is moving in an urchin-like motion. If it is your first experience, you may hesitate...(laugh). It is a dish with a strong impact, but it was delicious. Live blue crab cajun The spiciness of the sauce and the sweetness of the crab meat alternately assault the palate. It looks very spicy, but the balance is just right, and the dish is exquisitely delicious. Put on plastic gloves and bite into it. Korean seaweed tsukudani is sold in jars, which you can take home as a souvenir for an additional 1,000 yen for the course. Abalone rice porridge (with Hokkaido sea urchin) Abalone on top of gently flavored rice porridge. It was supposed to be a palate freshener, but it was so delicious and unique. I would like to have another bowl. Saga Beef Extra Quality Classy Roast & Pork Ribs on the Bone Here comes the bold meat menu. As expected, the beautifully sinewy kurashita melted in your mouth. The "kurashita" (under saddle) is the loin from the shoulder to the back, and is renowned for its beauty, aroma, and balance of flavors. It is connected to the rib roast, but has more lean meat content than the rib roast. In other words, it is a dreamy meat that allows you to enjoy the unique flavor of lean meat and the melt-in-your-mouth texture of sardines at the same time. The waiter grills the meat at your seat. This is the basic style of Korean barbeque. However.... The picture is for two people, but the amount of meat was so large that it felt heavy and slowed down the pace of eating. It was so much that even two big eaters would have been upset, so you should be prepared for that (laugh). Sanggitang (chicken ginseng soup) This is a specialty of Hanjikichu. I was already full, but I could not leave without eating chicken ginseng. As it turns out, it was great. Loose and exquisitely tender chicken meat. Mellow soup bursting with collagen Glutinous rice cooked in that soup The harmony of these three exquisite ingredients is so impressive that you will not be able to stop laughing. Famous food connoisseurs and celebrities repeat to come back just for the samgyetang. Even I, who have little experience with Korean food, was shocked by this dish. I heard that the price of Korean food in Japan is in the high-class category, but I was very satisfied with this quality. There are four different courses ranging from ¥6,000 to ¥8,000, and if two people come to the restaurant, an additional ¥1,000 will be charged for the extra cost of the meal, so keep that in mind. Overall, the cuisine is characterized by its elegant and light flavor. The spiciness that comes to mind when one hears the words "Korean cuisine" is a bit different, and I was able to savor the flavor of the dishes.
