You choose your preferred portion at the vending machine, and while you wait, a steaming bowl arrives quickly. When you mix the chewy thick noodles with the sauce at the bottom, a rich umami spreads throughout your mouth. Adding vinegar and chili oil from the table at your own pace changes the flavor, keeping it interesting until the end. Piling on the free chopped onions adds a crunchy texture and a hint of sweetness, making a nice accent. The char siu and menma are also richly aromatic, making it a bowl that you can't stop eating.
