This is a cozy little shop located in a corner of a food stall village, with a well-arranged counter and tables that create a relaxing atmosphere. The staff, although busy, respond with smiles, which lifts your spirits from the start. The fragrant thick noodles of the yakisoba are well-coated with sauce, and the flavors of pickled ginger and shredded seaweed make you want to keep eating. The fun service of being able to add as many squid tempura flakes as you like allows for a personal touch, which is delightful. The side dishes, such as the pickled yam and ginger potato salad, have a gentle flavor that pairs perfectly with the yakisoba. Enjoying a highball while snacking on smoked kaki-pea is also a pleasant experience, and I ended up staying longer than intended.
