Burgundy wine bar tucked away on the third floor of a building on Nishi-Azabu Bistro Street. I was invited to this bar for an after-party with some fashionable people whom I am very much indebted to for their business. At the entrance, several magnum bottles of vintage wines were tastefully lined up, and we entered the bar with high expectations. The restaurant, with its low lighting and U-shaped, thick, single-paneled wooden flooring, has a stately atmosphere. There are two large cellars. As we were a party of four, we were taken to a semi-private room in the back. A heavy leather sofa and a wall lined with empty bottles of DRC's great vintages made us sigh. The wine list was enchanting, with a wide selection of Burgundy wines, from grand cru to affordable village wines. The four of us enjoyed two bottles of cheese and felt happy with the wonderful restaurant and service, and our honest conversation brought us closer to the people we went with. Thank you to the person and the restaurant for choosing such a wonderful place. I feel relieved from the fatigue of the week.
