In a calm shop renovated from an old traditional house, the scent of the wood stove warmly welcomes you. As soon as you take your seat, the food arrives, and there was hardly any waiting time even on weekdays. The soba noodles are thin and chewy, with a subtle grainy aroma that is very refreshing. The broth, rich in dashi, is sharp, and when diluted with soba-yu (noodle water), it transforms into a gentle flavor. The freshly fried tempura enhances the sweetness of the vegetables, and it was enjoyable enough with just salt. Even the small dishes were carefully prepared, leaving me feeling pleasantly satisfied until the very end.

Upon entering the calm atmosphere of the restaurant, a gentle aroma of burning firewood spreads pleasantly. The service from the moment I sat down until the food arrived was surprisingly smooth, bringing a smile to my face. The 100% buckwheat soba is thin yet has a strong chewiness, allowing me to enjoy the rich aroma of soba with every bite. The dipping sauce is subtly sweet, highlighting the umami of the broth, and when combined with the milky soba water served at the end, it is exceptional. The freshly fried tempura has a light and crispy batter, and the sweet potato, in particular, was impressively sweet and fluffy. The dashi omelet and small side dishes also had a gentle flavor, making for a satisfying meal that conveyed the care put into every dish.
