May Satsuki Course From the presentation of the English-language newspaper Kabuto Kabuto to the dishes that can only be enjoyed here, I was continuously thrilled and impressed from start to finish. The warm consideration of the proprietress was also very pleasant. As recommended by the chef, we started with the crabmeat. The fourth bowl of rice with Japanese yam and Japanese mullet roe was too good to be true. I was so impressed that I wanted my good friend who loves delicious food to enjoy the same wonderful impression I had last time.

The food was delicious. It was elaborate but not too much, and it looked beautiful. The decoration of the dishes for the Dolls' Season was really cute. I was so excited. I was happy to be able to eat such delicious food at such a low price. Thank you very much. I am sorry that neither of us could drink.

The setting, the tableware, the way of presentation, the hospitality. The setting, the tableware, the presentation, and the hospitality were all excellent once again. 1) Snow crab and rape blossoms. The one cooked slowly with crab miso, and the rare one. The sweetness and texture changed completely depending on the way the crab was cooked! The last one was served with crab shell sake so you get all the crab extract 😋❤️ Noto fugu, 115, Kaga lotus root, butterbur plantain, and garland chrysanthemum. The soup is made with white miso paste. The sweet white miso paste is accented with Japanese spices! 4) Maki-e lacquerware is also wonderful ✨. 5) Hachisun The dishes are thoughtfully prepared and worth seeing every time 🤩. I visited Kanazawa for the first time. Hoping to indulge in a nice meal, I picked Kanazawa Hirayama after reading all the positive reviews. I’m very glad that I did and would definitely love to dine here again next time I travel to Kanazawa. The Kaiseki dinner course was a truly sumptuous journey for the taste buds and a feast for the eye. Every dish of the course was heartfully cooked and artistically presented. Fresh, seasonal ingredients were in perfect harmony with and complement one another. The chef, the proprietress and all staff were very friendly, attentive and caring too. Realising that I could only speak very limited Japanese, they tried their best to explain every dish to me ensuring that I had an enjoyable time. Highly recommended!
