Upon entering the tatami room, there is a sunken kotatsu-style counter, and the clean white wood and shoji screens are easy on the eyes and create a calming atmosphere. A faint fragrance envelops the shop, enhancing the aroma of the dishes and making it pleasant. The course is a creative Kyoto kaiseki, with the first dish being fried conger eel with persimmon seeds and white sesame dressing of chrysanthemum greens, which had a fragrant and gentle taste. The following soup dish featured conger eel and matsutake mushrooms in a clear broth, allowing the umami of the ingredients to be fully appreciated. Seasonal dishes such as grilled Spanish mackerel and delicately prepared turnip steam were beautifully presented, and even the patterns on the dishes were enjoyable. Thanks to the attentive service from the young couple and the spacious seating arrangement, I was able to spend a peaceful time from start to finish.

The food is a course and is fresh and tasty, with rare items such as the sashimi yaito bonito and gasa shrimps. The bowls are also delicious. The dishes are seasonal, and the portions are generous. I am very satisfied.
