The sashimi was really delicious! Especially the squid from Yobuko. This time it was a type of squid called Mizui. It was a bit pricey, but that's to be expected, haha. I want to try different dishes, so I would like to revisit with my gourmet friend. It was quite difficult to make a reservation at this restaurant, so I was very grateful for this reservation service!

I am here on a filial piety trip to Hakata, my mother's hometown. We go directly from the airport to "Seimon Pay", a famous fish restaurant in the Nakasu shopping arcade, which only accepts reservations until 6:30 pm. The sesame mackerel is definitely the best I have ever had in Fukuoka! The mackerel was about a little too fatty, but the strong seasoning and the wasabi were in perfect harmony. The accompanying wakabu was also very tasty! The fish is fresh, the sake is plentiful, and everything is great. The price of each dish is the same as at some other restaurants in Tokyo, but the bill is surprisingly low. Maybe they don't have a service charge or an appetizer. I want to come back tomorrow! I asked about it and found that a table was available, so I made a reservation and came back. What shall we eat tomorrow?

I couldn't believe the volume and had to check to see if I could get take out lol. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced! The sashimi in particular was incredibly fresh, as if it had been processed straight from the large fish tank! The Amakusa Daio chicken is so muscular and chewy! Many people seem to not be able to finish their meal, so they let you take it out! The next day I ate it and it was still as chewy as ever! And yet so plump, I want to go back again!
