As you proceed down the alley, a hidden counter appears, and the calm lighting is pleasant. A rich sweet wine is poured into the glass, and the aroma of grapes gently rises. When comparing ports of different ages, the fresh ones are refreshing, while the long-aged ones have a depth reminiscent of dried fruits. I also tried the Madeira set, where the richness from the barrels and the gentle sweetness blend exquisitely. The staff, who engage in conversation over the counter, are friendly and casually share tips on how to enjoy the drinks. I felt that this space is an excellent place to relax when you want to slowly savor sweet alcohol on a quiet night.

When I opened the door to the alley, I was excited to see shelves full of Port and Madeira. After trying several types of Madeira that were recommended to me, I could clearly distinguish the differences in their mellow sweetness and deep richness. When I also tasted Ports of different ages, the younger ones were fruity, while the long-aged ones had a fragrance reminiscent of dried fruits that spread pleasantly, which was impressive. There was also a single malt aged in Madeira casks, and it was refreshing to enjoy it while comparing it with the wine set. The bartender was friendly, and spending time listening to the stories behind each bottle was very pleasant. Thanks to the quiet atmosphere and the unique drinks, I was able to have a relaxed and happy evening.
