Sunaba

Located in a narrow alley just a short walk from the south exit of Akishima Station, Sunaba is a historic soba shop that belongs to the three major Edo-style soba traditions alongside Yabu and Sarashina. The light green 2:8 soba is rich in flavor and has a delightful texture, perfectly complemented by the slightly sweet and rich dipping sauce. The combination with freshly fried tempura and katsudon is also highly praised, showcasing the skill of the artisans. Upon opening the wooden sliding door, guests are welcomed into a warm, traditional interior where they can enjoy authentic soba in a relaxed atmosphere.
