About a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Metropolitan University, I had an image of a DINER that mainly serves meat dishes from what I saw on the food logs and other sources. The high ceilings, wide table space, soft chairs, calm customer service, and the unbelievably sour salad dressing made me instantly realize that this was a restaurant for adults. We were looking for the spare ribs (1,800 yen), the signature dish here, and from the four different sauces available, we chose the special soy sauce. Lunch orders come with a salad, soup, and bread or rice. The soup has the aroma of consommé wafting through the air even before you drink it, and the dressing has the flavor of shiso that hits your nostrils with a thud. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the main dish arrived. The waitress told us to eat them with bare hands, so feel free to do so. The special sauce (soy sauce?) is not that much of an insult, so it is not too much. The special sauce (soy sauce?) is not so assertive, so it sufficiently enhanced the taste of the meat. One of the four ribs is on the edge, which is something a Ramen Jiro pig would be very excited about! Compared to the others, the volume of the meat is bigger and the flavor is soaked up, making it the best of both worlds. The meat can be peeled off the bone with room to spare, so I was very full. Along with spare ribs, I will try their famous apple pie next time.

Before the first order, water and wet towels did not arrive. I ordered garlic spare ribs as part of the course, but salt and pepper came instead. I ate it as it was. Even though there was food left, the fork was cleared away. I thought the timing of the dishes coming out was a bit too early.
