This hidden gem in a back alley offers a calm space reminiscent of a traditional Japanese house, which is very comfortable. The wooden and clean interior plays J-POP music, and the counter and raised seating are convenient to use. The cooking style involves grilling on a small gas flame, allowing the fat to drip off and resulting in a deliciously fragrant finish. The homemade chive soy sauce is rich in flavor and pairs perfectly with chilled tofu and lightly seared chicken breast. The grilled tongue with green onion salt, garlic-infused skirt steak, and crunchy cartilage are also impressively delicious. To top it off, you can enjoy tail soup, Taiwanese mixed rice, and Taiwanese ramen, and the staff is friendly, making for a pleasant experience.
