Their local sake, Tenzan Hiya, has won the highest gold award and is a deep and flavorful drink that is said to be produced in the nearby city of Ogi. The dishes are also visually beautiful, and the Japanese cuisine that utilizes local ingredients such as eggs, edamame, smoked duck, and sazae (turban shell) is delicious. In addition, the sashimi platter is full of fresh seafood such as turban shell, sea bream, mackerel, and tuna.
