Cosy dumpling restaurant I was about to return to the hotel when I saw a restaurant called "Gyoza". But my feet were pointing this way... Asahiken, a gyoza (dumpling) restaurant! They are so popular that they bake 5,000 gyoza on weekends. The menu is simple. Yaki gyoza (10 per person) 340 yen Sui-gyoza (10 per person) 340 yen Tebasaki (chicken wings) 90 yen per piece Rice (large 160 yen, small 110 yen) Miso soup 110 yen Macaroni salad 230 yen Kinpira 230 yen Vinegared fish ball 230 yen No wonder gyoza is the main dish! As expected, we were full, so we had gyoza and yaki gyoza for one person each. We also ordered one each of chicken wings. There are three types of tables, a counter and a tatami room in the restaurant. Even though it was late, the restaurant was crowded with businessmen! The first thing to arrive was the chicken wings! Well, there are fried ones right next to the restaurant! They are not juicy, but the more you chew, the more flavorful they become! Sui-gyoza and yaki-gyoza Both are bite-size, and the water one is very refreshing. The crispy texture of the yaki gyoza is addictive! The red bean paste is rich in vegetables and has a gentle taste. It is easy to eat and you will finish it before you get tired of it. That's why everyone comes here to finish their meal, right? The sauce for the gyoza is sour and refreshing. The garlic is also a little bit low, so you don't have to worry about it the next day. I was able to eat even though I was full! Back at the hotel, I couldn't sleep for a while because I was in too much pain (sweat). I think I went around the bullet a little too much. But I'm glad it was all good food!
