The interior is bright and allows for a relaxed atmosphere. The chef is friendly, and the conversation is enjoyable, which makes it easy to drink more. The sashimi is fresh, and the hokki and horse mackerel were particularly impressive. The nigiri has a nice chewy texture from the squid and a pleasant aroma from the lightly grilled toppings, and the surprising deliciousness of the grilled shiitake mushrooms is a delight. The tempura corn is sweet and makes you want to ask for a second helping. They also serve shredded hairy crab, steamed rock oysters, raw sweet shrimp, and gunkan with button shrimp roe, all of which are satisfying.
