I was walking down the street lined with Mashiko pottery when I was drawn in by the aroma. The interior has table seating and a raised area, creating a comforting, traditional atmosphere. The thin handmade soba made with Tochigi-produced buckwheat flour and pure water has a smooth texture, and the aroma lingers until the end. The tempura assortment, made with seasonal ingredients, was perfectly crispy and paired excellently with the soba. The katsudon had a nicely balanced sweet and savory flavor, and the set with handmade udon left me very satisfied. The dishes are served in Mashiko pottery, making the presentation enjoyable and enhancing the overall taste of the meal.
