Daidokoro

The restaurant features dishes using fresh fish caught in the seas around Fukuoka and creative Japanese cuisine that makes the most of seasonal ingredients. The restaurant offers a lineup of excellent dishes that showcase the restaurant's attention to detail in each and every dish. The restaurant uses vegetables from Kyushu to Hokkaido, carefully selected according to the season, and uses cooking methods that bring out the best of the ingredients to create delicious moments.

Opened on June 4, 2014, Daizojo received a Bronze in the Eat Log Awards 2021 and was selected as one of the 100 Best Izakaya Restaurants in Eat Log Izakaya 2022.

The owner, Shigetomi, opened "Oshiro" with a concept somewhere between an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and a small restaurant, based on his cooking experience at "Hime", a Japanese restaurant in Imaizumi. Focusing on seafood dishes, he has established his own cooking style, drawing on his experience working at a fresh fish restaurant. Mr. Shigetomi's cuisine, which is his foray into the world of Japanese cuisine, has spread beyond his hometown of Fukuoka to the rest of the prefecture and beyond.
