The interior of the restaurant is a calm space and very comfortable. The first chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) has a gentle flavor that is soothing. The specialty, straw-grilled dish, has a rich aroma, and the presentation finished on a lava plate is exciting. In particular, the straw-grilled bonito and Kumamoto herb chicken are fragrant, and when enjoyed with salt, their umami stands out. The lettuce in the salad is fresh, and the ajillo (garlic shrimp) and crispy burdock are also satisfying in taste. There is a wide variety of dishes, including mackerel clay pot rice, making it hard to put down the chopsticks.

In a calm space by the river, the interior is very stylish. The staff is attentive, making it a comfortable place to spend time. The fish and meat have a fragrant aroma of straw that wafts through the air, and the umami is distinctly felt. Cooked slowly on a lava plate, even when grilled thoroughly, it remains surprisingly tender. The finishing clay pot rice has a pleasant aroma of dashi, and the cooking was just perfect. It seems that the salads and sashimi change with the seasons, so there are new discoveries every time I visit.
