This is a calm shop located in a quiet mountain village. The soba is freshly made on the spot, so it has a wonderful aroma and a nice chewiness. The slightly sweet broth clings well to the noodles, and the warm herring soba features tender fish that is delightful. The grated soba also has a firm texture, making it easy to eat. The handmade chashu is surprisingly delicious and pairs perfectly with the light Chinese soba. The bowl of freshly fried, thick cutlet topped with egg is also very satisfying, and the combination with the soba is just right.
