Kihachi Rakuhachi Nishi Sabae

The house specialty, fresh tsukune hand-kneaded daily, is available in several flavors and is characterized by the distinctive smokiness of charcoal grilling. The lightly seasoned, juicy dashimaki tamago (rolled dashi omelet) is finished gently and served with grated daikon and pickled red ginger, and a variety of dishes are offered, including cheese teppanyaki, fresh fish sashimi, and skewers. For dessert, the signature cheesecake "Goku" is served with berry sauce and whipped cream, ensuring enjoyment until the end of the meal.

The interior, equipped with private rooms at every seat, features a wide range of seating arrangements that can accommodate anything from meals for two to large banquets. Inheriting a focus on repeat customers cultivated in the Fukui area, it has gained a reputation for attentive staff and fast dish service. An all-you-can-drink menu is also available, and its strong cost performance makes it popular across a wide range of generations.

The “Kihachi Raku Hachi” brand, which has operated multiple locations in Fukui City for over 20 years, made its first suburban expansion in 2024 with the Sabae Interchange store. Following that favorable response, it opened the Nishi-Sabae store in Mizuochi-cho, Sabae City on April 15, 2026. The business is operated by Kabushiki Kaisha Dining (Dining Co., Ltd.), and is working to establish itself in the Sabae area as a locally rooted izakaya (Japanese-style pub).
