Easy and casual in Shinchi My usual visit to Financier's Before going for sweets, we must have a light meal... This time, we went to Borracho, a wine bar on the main street. I've always been curious about this place, and I've been BMing about it! Walking up the narrow stairs, you will find the restaurant. There is a counter right next to the entrance and tables in the back. The restaurant is a small box, so it is not suitable for a large group. The menu is decided by looking at the blackboard behind the counter. First, let's toast with RATZENBERGER! It's crisp and easy to drink! The dishes are also ordered while looking at the blackboard. Crispy cheese with sakura shrimps and parmigiano from Shizuoka Prefecture! I was so impressed with the crunchiness of the cheese that I had to order it! The aroma of the shrimp and the cheese is irresistible! How could it not go well with sake? BORRACHO's famous anchovy fries! Why do anchovies and potatoes go so well together? The texture of the potatoes is nice and the anchovies are not too overpowering, making it easy to eat! I can't wait to drink again! Wagyu Beef Sinew Dote Grilled with Moscatel Flavor What is this? I thought Doteyaki was only brown, but this one is white! It has a plump texture and an elegant sweetness! Is it because of the moscatel? It's good to eat it little by little! The second glass was a good night's sleep... It's a grape wine and it's a slightly effervescent rosé! My friend drank it first, so I got to taste it! It's so delicious and the slight effervescence is very pleasant! I asked for one too! I asked for it! A regular customer ordered it first and it was out of stock. He gave it to me saying, "I have some at home, so here you go! What a gentleman! Thank you very much! The aroma was fruity and delicious! Unfortunately, we were the last to say good night, so it's gone now... Jamon Serrano Salad We ordered it because there was a magnificent Jamon Serrano in the kitchen! We had to eat vegetables too, right? No smell, moist and concentrated! The sliced lotus root chips were crispy and crunchy! It was refreshing! Beef shank stewed in red wine The wine-soaked shank is so tender that you don't even need a knife! It loosens so easily that you don't even need a knife! And the deep demi-glace flavor is just irresistible! It's just like a Western-style restaurant! Meat aliens were already in agony! Carbonara style risotto with buckwheat rice This was ordered by the person who shared wine with us earlier. We thought buckwheat rice was unusual... It takes a little time because it is made from raw rice, but unlike white rice, you can enjoy the crunchy texture. It's very good! It's very good! The cream is not too thick, so you can eat it without hesitation! We ate quite a lot, but it was very inexpensive at only a little over 4,000 yen per person! There are various small dishes for 380 yen, so you can have a little drink as well! What a user-friendly restaurant! The food is delicious and they have a great selection of drinks! If you don't know what you like, just let the owner know and he will help you out! It is a nice restaurant and I would like to go there again with someone! Thank you for the food!
