Mugitoro Tsutaya

The signature dish "Zaru Tororo Soba" features a smooth and umami-rich tororo made from Yamato yam sourced from Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, paired with soba noodles made from buckwheat flour from Akita Prefecture and wheat from Iwate Prefecture, offering a firm texture. The Chicken Nanban Soba and Chicken Seiro highlight tender young chicken thigh as the main ingredient. Additionally, there is the Tempura Zaru Soba, and a set meal called "Mugi Toro Zen" that includes noodles and barley rice.

Inside the store, wooden tables and chairs are neatly arranged, and there are also tatami seating areas available. From the windows, one can see the greenery of the mountains, and the spacious environment creates an open and relaxed atmosphere. Customers have also rated it as 'a clean store where I could relax.'

As a long-established restaurant with over 90 years since its founding, we continue to uphold a commitment to domestic ingredients, such as soba made from Akita Prefecture buckwheat flour and Iwate Prefecture wheat, natural yam from Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, homemade bonito dashi sauce, and wasabi from Ome, Tokyo. It is a traditional establishment that has been featured on television programs and continues to be loved by local mountain climbers and tourists.
