We dined at the counter, which was highly recommended and well-reviewed online. Beer was served in large mugs, and the shime saba sashimi, grilled autumn eggplant, and thick-cut bacon were delicious. A bottle of shochu can be ordered, and the barley was long aged and easy to drink. The restaurant was also flexible, with enoki ponzu and grilled cod roe prepared upon request. The atmosphere was cozy and there were many regulars. We felt the restaurant was worth more than the score.
