Shinkawa Nishiya" - A hidden izakaya in Namba, Osaka, where sake drinkers gather. You will be amazed at the sashimi! Located in front of Nankai Namba Station in Osaka, Shinkawa Nishiya is a popular izakaya where you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes and delicious sake. The restaurant is marked by a shiny blue round signboard and a wooden sign that reads "We are serving" in handwritten characters. The store is located in a dimly lit alley. Please feel its charm from this article‍. Store Information Shinkawa Nishiya About a 2-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station Budget: ¥3,000~¥5,000 Closed on Thursdays and the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Seating: 39 seats (15 at counter, 24 at tables) Private rooms: None Private rooms: None Smoking is allowed in all areas. Private parking: None Visited on November 16, 2019 Appearance The entrance is divided into "Omote" and "Ura," and the picture of the exterior is the "Ura" side. The entrance is characterized by a very low profile (you have to bend down to get in), and you have to enter in a ninja-like position. Interior The interior of the renovated old private house is a unique space with large pillars that catch the eye. Although you are so close to the customers next to you that you might be picked up by women, it is not stuffy. You can spend your time in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant has a total of 39 seats, including 15 seats at the counter and 24 seats at tables. The most distinctive feature of Shinkawa Nisshiya is its accounting system. The bill is "charged" in a special container and collected by the waiter each time an order is placed, a style I had never experienced before. While I enjoyed this unusual system, I also felt that the waiter must have had a hard time.... I also felt that the waiters must have a hard time.... What stores are nearby? Shinsaibashi] "Kawaguchi Nagahoribashi "Yuuzan Shinsaibashi] "Choji These are stores in the Namba area that I don't go to often. MVP Menu Sashimi platter ¥1,000 I'm sorry, I completely underestimated the quality of the six kinds of sashimi. All six were so fresh that even those who don't know much about fish would be tempted to say, "This is so fresh! Even those who don't know much about fish would be tempted to say, "This is so fresh! Not only was it fresh, but it was a high quality material with a deep flavor. The tuna was particularly impressive. It was cut into small pieces, but its presence in the mouth was top-notch. Please try the rich tuna with a strong assertiveness. Dishes Tiger puffer fish skin ponzu ¥600 The crunchy texture of the skin and the acidity of the ponzu (citrus juice) are the purest expression of the word "addictive". It is a perfect accompaniment to alcoholic beverages. French fries with yam and shrimp ¥650 The menu continues with items that are irresistible to sake lovers. The crispy texture that is pleasant to eat would not be possible without the perfect amount of frying. The subtle flavor of the shrimp enhances the deliciousness of the dish. Serve with a squeeze of lemon. Maguro tuna minchi katsu (minchi cutlet) 850 yen The "meatiness" of this dish is astonishing. A vulgar customer might say, "Isn't that pork? A vulgar customer might say, "Is it pork? The flavor is enhanced by a unique seasoning called "Avo Mayo Tartaruto Demi Sauce. It was a juicy menchikatsu that would go well with white rice. A variety of dishes that enhance the appeal of sake can be enjoyed at reasonable prices. ●Drinks I made the mistake of forgetting to take a picture of the sake menu, even though we went to a restaurant famous for sake. All I can say is, "There were many kinds of sake. I am really sorry. Budget About 8,000 yen (3 people) This is the price for a modest meal and about 10 drinks in total. We estimate that the average budget is less than 4,000 yen. Yes, it is cheap. It is cheap. What about similar restaurants? Tenma] "Takeuchi Yanai" (Tanimachi 9-chome) We picked up two restaurants under the category of "Seafood and Sake Restaurants". Check them out. Impression The retro atmosphere will soothe you, then the sashimi, and finally the sake.... I seriously recommend "Shinkawa Nisshiya" where you can spend a blissful night at a price range that anyone can afford. This exquisite seafood izakaya is a one-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station. Be careful when you enter. Well, it's the Year-End Party! The choice of restaurant was left to me, so I searched and searched! Thinking about the members, we decided on this restaurant, Shinkawa Nisshiya! Everyone loves fish, right? Ura and Omote The entrance is so low ... even I, a small person, have to crouch down to get in! The interior is not so spacious. There are tables and a counter. but it is a little narrow. The interior is a little dark, but the restaurant was full on that day, so it was very crowded. It would be better to make a reservation. And this restaurant is a cash-on-delivery restaurant! It's easier if you put some money in for now! It's a bit of a hassle if you have to pay one by one. The menu is mainly Japanese-style pub style, but Western food is sometimes available. Cheers with a glass of blood orange! Assorted Sashimi Sea bream, horse mackerel, Spanish mackerel, tuna, raw octopus, and kampachi! Very fresh sashimi with great texture! Thank you for fitting four people! This gives me high expectations for the rest of the meal! Potato salad with homemade croutons! When I come to an izakaya, I always order potato salad! It has a homemade feel and the ingredients are cut into large pieces, so you feel like you've eaten something! I would have preferred homemade croutons ・・・・ Slowly simmered tongue stew! There are also Western dishes like this! We didn't get to taste much of it because there were 4 of us. The taste is surprisingly good, even for a Western-style restaurant! The rich, slow-cooked tongue is very tender! Minced tuna cutlet with avo-mayo sauce! Because it's tuna, it's very light! But~ the avocado tartar goes really well with it! This too was gone in no time! Fish hormone Liver, skin, and scraps. It's dipped in ponzu (Japanese sauce made of vinegar and soy sauce). No, no, no... this hormone is delicious! The fish was good, too! Hot and Snacky Meat and Potatoes As the name suggests, it's very comforting! Potatoes are soaked in the sweetness of the meat! Half a piece of Nodoguro fish boiled in soy sauce! This is delicious! They all said it was delicious! The seasoning is slightly sweet and goes well with the fish! The throat grouper was soft and fluffy, and I think I could have had one by myself! I recommend it! Seared Momijika Deep flavor I think it's a pretty good entrée for those who drink alcohol! Fried Oysters and Aged Pork Loin I know it's an oyster, but.... Was it a little hard to understand? Was the aged pork tasty? I don't remember eating it. There is a wide variety of food on the menu, and there are other things I'm interested in. The price of each dish is less than 1,000 yen, so I am happy with the low price! The food is delicious and there is a reason why it is so popular. No wonder it's a popular restaurant! Next time, let's go to Shinkawa Nishiya in Omote.

☀️ Shinkawa Nishiya Namba/Ura Namba . My favorite restaurant in Za Ura 👼. Always crowded and popular with great fish 👀. On this day, we were allowed to sit at the counter with one of the regulars who can't always get in 😳✨. They let me in at the counter 😳✨. The owner is very close to me, He was so chatty and fun 😂. If you come here, you must try the assorted sashimi You must try the sashimi platter 🐟✨! It's like 1,000 yen for 2 people 😊. Vegetable meat rolls were also delicious😍 They have a great selection of sake and it's cheap too! Perfect for people who drink sake 🙆‍♀️

☀️ Shinkawa Nishiya Namba/Ura Namba . Great fish restaurant in Namba 🐟. Payment is "cash-on". Pay when you get what you ordered. A rare style 👼. Leave the money on the table. They will calculate and take it for you. On this day, I ordered a course instead of a single dish! The price was 2,000 yen, a great deal! Cod milt tempura! This was so delicious😍! The warm milt melts in your mouth 💋! And the grilled fish was also pretty big and flaky 🐟! I forgot what kind of fish it was 🤫! Salad and yakisoba! There are more courses to come. I'll post the rest in the next post 🐈🐈.

☀️ Shinkawa Nisshiya Namba Near Nankai Namba and Prefectural Gymnasium! What's the name of this area? It's a popular restaurant and always full! It's hard to get a reservation 🥺. The door is so low that you have to squat to get in 🤣. It was my first time to try cash-on! You put your money in the container on the desk and they will take it for you 🦊. Delicious fish and sake 🥰. The sea urchin is also very tasty!
