Unaju, with eel and rice served in separate bowls, is characterized by its fluffy texture and elegant flavor. The sauce, passed down for many years, is subtly sweet and enhances the umami of the eel. Accompaniments such as liver soup and Nara pickles are also plentiful, making it a well-balanced dish overall.

There are raised tatami mats and table seating, creating a homely and calm atmosphere. The interior is compact yet warm, providing a relaxing time for visitors. The staff's attentive service is also pleasant, making it a space where one can spend leisurely time.
