We visited for my second daughter's job celebration because the family had wanted to go for a long time. Despite making a reservation a week in advance, due to a mix-up at the restaurant, we were seated with seven people at a table meant for four, and there was only one roaster. The manager apologized and offered a complimentary plate with five types of meat, which turned out well in the end. The meat was delicious, just as rumored. The downside was that since there were many people, each person had their own plate and drinks, which meant there wasn't enough space on the table for the meat plate, and it was difficult to cook enough meat for everyone on just one roaster. Overall, we had a great night.

Ako has the best ramen in the region (their pork braised ramen is the best)! I love the ambience, you can really see its personality but also the good feeling of a family-run business. I will miss this place dearly!

The tempura has a light batter, and the shrimp is firm and satisfying. There are many dishes to choose from, such as tempura of wild vegetables and bamboo shoots, sashimi platter, and soba pizza, which is exciting. The sansho cream cheese pairs well with alcohol and can be enjoyed leisurely.
