Es un lugar muy encantador. La fachada es de paredes blancas, pero el interior tiene una decoración tranquila que evoca un aire antiguo. Hay un gerente llamado Wolf y un oso de Steiff. Suena música irlandesa y la atmósfera es agradable. Las tazas de té son de Wedgwood con diseño de fresa silvestre. Los sándwiches de pepino, los scones y los dulces están elaborados con esmero, y se puede disfrutar de un sabor tradicional británico. Esto es un auténtico té de la tarde al estilo británico. La crema espesa estaba en abundancia en el recipiente, tanto que parecía un desperdicio que sobrara. Al principio pensé que la comida en la bandeja de dos niveles podría tener un poco más de volumen, pero debido a la delicadeza y el esfuerzo en la preparación, y a que cada bocado tenía un sabor sólido, disfruté en total de lo mejor de la antigua y buena Inglaterra. Hay una gran variedad de tés, incluyendo algunas marcas que no se ven en otros lugares, y pensé que tendría que volver para probar más. ¿La tetera es de vidrio resistente al calor? Ojalá hubiera sido una tetera de cerámica blanca. Esto es lo único que me pareció un poco decepcionante. Parece que el menú cambia mensualmente, así que quiero volver.
