A rice specialty restaurant steeped in tradition and flavor
Myeongwol Jjip is a historic rice specialty restaurant that opened in 1962, located in Sinpo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon. The founder, the late Kim Bok-nyeo, provided hearty servings of rice to workers at the port, and this tradition is now carried on by the third generation. The restaurant is known for its long-simmered kimchi jjigae and a variety of side dishes, and it has been selected as one of the top 100 beloved traditional Korean restaurants.
