A refined and dry flavor that seems to take pride in being a Niigata sake. It is dry without any sharpness, and while it is light, it has depth, making it delicious without becoming tiresome to drink. It can be enjoyed in various ways: at room temperature, chilled, or warmed. Its light and refreshing taste does not interfere with food, making it perfect for daily evening drinks.
By carefully controlling the polishing of the rice, it is crafted to achieve a richer, more powerful, and dynamic flavor with depth. The aroma has a faint fruity impression, while the taste is bold and centered, emphasizing the rich and broad flavor of Yamada Nishiki, known as the king of sake rice. The cuisine of Uonuma often features dishes that can be preserved during the winter, reflecting traditional practices, and thus, dishes with a strong flavor of sweet soy sauce are predominant. It pairs well with rich-flavored dishes such as salted salmon, salted mackerel, and hot pot dishes that are linked to this culinary culture.
This sake has a refreshing taste with a fullness, characterized by a soft mouthfeel and a smooth throat finish, creating a well-balanced drink. It can be enjoyed both cold and warm, making it a versatile companion for food, and you can enjoy it in different ways to match your dishes.
On the rocks, with water, with soda
