The proposal of 'Kakura' is to enjoy the spices and herbs 'Ka' deliciously, to eat 'Ku', and to make every day more enjoyable and energetic 'Ra'. This is a fusion of modern nutrition science and Chinese medicinal cuisine. Based on the wisdom of nutritionists and international medicinal cuisine specialists, and the theories of traditional Chinese medicine centered around the five organs, we uniquely blend herbal medicines, spices, and herbs. We provide medicinal curry and medicinal dishes that replenish the power you lack. Among them, the medicinal curry uses the rare 'Angelica leaf' lavishly, combined with a natural broth that has been slowly prepared, and is generously filled with vegetables and fruits. It is a special curry unique to 'Kakura' that is gluten-free and gentle on the body. *Since it is completely handmade, there may be slight variations in taste depending on the ingredients (vegetables, fruits, etc.) of the day, but the quantities and effects of the spices, herbs, and traditional medicines remain unchanged.

Angelica is a plant in the Apiaceae family, said to warm the body, improve blood circulation, prevent anemia, and alleviate symptoms specific to women. The origin of the term 'Angelica = to return (to the right place)' has various interpretations, including stories of brides who were not blessed with children becoming so after using Angelica, or brides who recovered their health after childbirth with the help of Angelica. At Kakura, we add 'Angelica Leaf Powder' to our curry.

Food is divided into five properties: "hot, warm, neutral, cool, and cold." While many grains are neutral, combining them with jasmine gives a warm finish. This is a special rice that supplements the five organs, known as "kakura." [Warm] Jujube: Spleen, Stomach; Jasmine: Heart, Spleen, Liver [Neutral] White rice: Spleen, Stomach; Millet: Spleen, Lungs; Barley: Spleen, Lungs, Kidneys; Purple stone rice: Spleen, Stomach, Kidneys; Black sesame: Spleen, Lungs, Liver, Kidneys; White sesame: Lungs, Spleen, Large intestine; Goji berries: Liver, Kidneys [Cool] Millet: Kidneys, Spleen, Stomach.
