In 1950, amidst the chaos of the postwar period, we opened our doors with the hope that people would enjoy our delicious sukiyaki without feeling self-conscious about it. For more than 70 years, we have been supported by many customers in the back alleys of Shinjuku's West Exit, and because we are a small restaurant with only about 20 seats, we take pride in our ability to warmly welcome each and every one of our customers. The sukiyaki, which is Japanese black beef cooked in a secret sauce, will make you feel nostalgic, even if you stop by during your travels.
