Sushi at a luxury hotel is legit @ Shinsaibashi | Delicious food and happiness♪ W Osaka opened in March this year. The first Marriott-affiliated hotel in Japan is here in Osaka! I visited here for afternoon tea before, but this time I went for dinner! French cuisine, Teppanyaki, Cafe, Sushi This time, Coco Osaka SushiUKIYO is only open for reservations by referral, but guests can use the restaurant if a table is available. There is no signboard, so you need to open the door with a special card. The open window and counter continue to the back. The wall sea-inspired paintings are all over the wall, mysterious! The stately proprietor greets us and we begin! Chopsticks are hexagonal chopsticks with the restaurant's name on them. You can take them home in a box at the end of the meal. ◾️ Non-alcoholic Sparkling We visited in June, when alcohol was not served, so we toasted with a non-alcoholic drink! You can taste the atmosphere with just a splash of sparkling wine! ■Okinawan mozuku vinegar ■Sashimi Nagasaki Prefecture Kue Turban shell from Tango, Kyotango ■Steamed abalone Kochi Prefecture pickled bonito Straw-roasted swordfish Steamed bonito with sake First, let's start with the neta It was a hot and humid day, so we refreshed ourselves with refreshing mozuku vinegar! Sashimi is Kue and Torigai! This Kue is a magnificent one! Very, very tasty and surprisingly delicious! The steamed abalone was so tender and the liver sauce was perfect with the abalone! The bonito was so rich and netty! The bonito was netty and very rich! Too bad it was non-alcoholic! Today's Nigiri ■Kinmedai ■Smith Squid ■Nodoguro ■Red meat ■Marinated Nakatoro Non-alcoholic cocktails Cohada Kisu kelp sashimi Untan (sea urchin) prawn Anago (eel) rolled tuna Miso soup with aosa seaweed ◾️ ball Shari is a blend of red vinegar and rice vinegar. The rice is firm and has just the right amount of acidity to not interfere with the ingredients. Starting with the sea bream, the dish was followed by a variety of high-end fish, such as the yellowtail squid and the bluefin tuna. And then came the triple hit of tuna! I heard that they get their tuna from a very famous place in Tsukiji! This was the most impressive dish of the day! It was so delicious! The prawns were freshly boiled and peeled, and very sweet! Anago (conger eel), maki (roll), and egg were the last! The miso soup with a hint of ao-sashi (green laver) made the final touch! ◾️ The last dessert is charcoal monaka ice cream! Small size! Just a little bit makes me happy! Non-alcoholic cocktails we ordered on the way I had them made at the bar and brought here! The service is just as you would expect from a hotel! The hospitality was very high and made us feel very comfortable. The food was the classic Edomae Sushi! I was expecting something more interesting from W Osaka, but I was a little disappointed. I was a little disappointed because I was expecting something more interesting. I enjoyed the meal with my close friends, so it's a good memory for me. Thank you for the food!
