The space has a high ceiling and is comfortable to spend time in, allowing you to see the chef's skills over the counter. The first dish served, a fragrant sesame-flavored eggplant, was very impressive, with the aroma of dashi gently spreading. The cold chawanmushi, which extracts the umami of tomatoes, had a smooth texture and was a fresh surprise. The sashimi, including Yaito bonito, red snapper, and spear squid, was juicy, and the fish with a hint of charcoal aroma was delicious. The hot dish of duck and matsutake mushrooms was aromatic, and the lotus root dumplings and vinegared crab were also delightful in flavor. The satisfaction continued with the sanma rice and sweet kinako tiramisu for dessert, and the staff were friendly, making for a pleasant experience.
