This is a rare restaurant in Shiga where you can have a morning rah-rah! My wish came true and I went there. Luckily, there were only two groups waiting inside, so we easily entered the restaurant. When we started to eat, there were about 10 people waiting outside. Since it was my first time, I ordered the normal shoyu ramen + extra bamboo shoots. I ordered the Menma Soba. My partner ordered the meat rice. I had it with my partner. The noodles were smooth and delicious! The soup is a light soup with low salt content. Although the amount of noodle is a bit large, it is easy to eat, But it is easy to eat. The meat rice is also quite tasty.

Soy Sauce Soba Soup with Meat and Rice On a holiday, we woke up a little early and headed for Shiga Prefecture. I went to Gennozuki, which had reopened for business after a period of absence, to try their morning noodle soup. I waited at the counter, bathed in the soft morning sunlight. This situation already makes me happy. I'm glad I woke up early. LOL. I was curious about the set menus, but there are three kinds of noodles alone. So, I decided to try the Jogen first. I couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of me. This, this, this is what I came here for. The mellow and gentle broth is soaking in. The noodles are crisp and easy to eat. It's light yet deep, perfect for a morning noodle soup. The meat rice is fragrant with char-grilled pork. The fried egg on top is a cunning visual. I was so moved by this sight that I captured the moment when the yolk was cracked open with my camera. The sun on my back and the warm meal make me a little hot, so I pour cold water from the kettle sweating on the tabletop. Oh, it tastes so good and I am so happy. Getting up early is worth more than three pennies. There are many restaurants in Shiga that I want to visit, so I'll come back again when I go for a drive.

12/30 is Gennozuki's special morning rah-rah! Special menu is Kamo-soba and Foie Gras Rice! The foie gras rice is limited to 30 servings and is gone. TKG instead! This was a very tactful move by the owner. The ramen this time was also very tasty.
