Wasaï Umi

The cuisine at Waka and Umi features creative Japanese dishes that make the most of seasonal ingredients from Akita. In particular, the omakase course that starts with appetizers is not only visually stunning but also rich in flavor. Each dish, such as chawanmushi (savory egg custard), grilled sweetfish, and assorted sashimi, highlights the quality of the ingredients. The pairing with local sake is excellent, allowing diners to fully enjoy the flavors of Akita alongside their meal.

The interior has a calm atmosphere where the warmth of wood can be felt, featuring counter seats and private rooms, creating a space that is comfortable for both individuals and groups. There is a sense of attention to detail in the lighting and interior design, resulting in a cozy environment. It is located in a quiet area, allowing for a relaxed experience.
