nanca is an attractive restaurant that opened in July 2023, located right in front of Yoyogi-Uehara Station. In a stylish and calm atmosphere, you can slowly enjoy natural wines and creative dishes. Many of the plates incorporate elements of Chinese cuisine, and the spring rolls with firefly squid and rapeseed flowers left a particularly strong impression. The gratin with Chinese noodles pairs well with the fragrant cheese and the slight bitterness of the shungiku (edible chrysanthemum). The desserts by the chef, who comes from a pastry background, are also excellent, with an ice cream infused with cardamom providing a pleasant spiciness. There is a lively counter and tables where you can enjoy standing, making it a great place for a quick stop. It is also suitable for a second visit, allowing for a comfortable stay.
