A hidden gem for enjoying seasonal Japanese cuisine

Located just a short distance from Shibuya Station, Hirose is an adult's hideaway where you can savor fresh seafood and seasonal dishes. The meals served in a calm atmosphere are delicate yet rich in flavor, pairing perfectly with sake. The daily special sashimi, in particular, allows you to enjoy the unique deliciousness of the season. This is a recommended spot for those who want to indulge in beautifully crafted dishes in an elegant setting.

The fresh fish and seasonal dishes are all available, and it's enjoyable to look at the recommendations on the blackboard. The sashimi is rich in flavor, and I was particularly impressed by the sea urchin and horse mackerel. The sake-steamed clams have a wonderful aroma and are so delicious that I couldn't help but want a second helping. The fried pufferfish and grilled broad beans are also carefully prepared and perfect for snacking. The interior is not too large, and there are semi-private seats where you can chat leisurely. There is a wide variety of sake, and I was satisfied with the dry options that pair well with the Japanese course meal.
