A renowned obanzai restaurant overflowing with the charm of Kyoto

Ouzuke Ishikawa is a famous Kyoto restaurant where you can enjoy a diverse array of dishes centered around obanzai. The interior, renovated from a traditional wooden house, is enveloped in a distinctly Kyoto atmosphere, offering new discoveries with each visit. Each dish is generously portioned, providing a high level of satisfaction, and the seasonal sake, which is highly recommended, pairs excellently with the food. This is a captivating place you definitely want to visit during your trip to Kyoto.

Excellent restaurant shijo-karasuma "omakase ishikawa New potatoes with cod roe Crispy salad of potherb mustard and fu with soy milk caesar Dengaku of fu grilled chicken and green onion grilled yellowtail with salt rice ball with red bean paste and sea bream rice Deep-fried sesame tofu Deep-fried Kyoto red chicken The restaurant we had made a reservation for in advance. We were able to get in sooner than expected as seats became available sooner than expected👍. Every single dish is so delicious! I was impressed every time lol! And it's so cheap! Good food, great atmosphere. I'm sure it will be even more fun when I grow up. It was such a restaurant! Thanks for the food! I'll be back! I'll be back!

I didn't feel that I was missing much because of the moderate amount of delicious obanzai dishes served. The atmosphere was nice and the seating arrangement was good.

Afficher plus

There is a sister store called [Tempura Obanzai Ishikawa] located just south of [Osuka Ishikawa]. This new style of restaurant features a counter where various obanzai dishes are displayed, and you can enjoy freshly fried tempura a la carte. In addition to tempura, you can also enjoy obanzai and today's special dish. We look forward to your visit!
