A long-established restaurant where you can taste authentic Western cuisine

Meijiken, established in 1925, is a renowned Western-style restaurant that has been beloved by locals in the Shinsaibashi area. The signature omurice, featuring moist rice wrapped in fluffy eggs, is made from a recipe that has been preserved for many years. Additionally, the crispy deep-fried kushi-katsu is exquisite, with a special sauce that enhances the juicy flavor of the meat. You can enjoy a heartwarming time in a cozy atmosphere, accompanied by warm hospitality and nostalgic Western music playing in the background.

You can choose between large, medium and small sizes. Small is 880, medium is 980, and large is 1,180. The best part is that the prices include tax 😊. So if you're an eater, go for the "medium" one since you're in the mood for it: 🙋‍♂️ This time, we went to the famous gourmet TV show This restaurant was introduced on the famous gourmet TV show "Chacha Neri Monday". This is a long-established western-style restaurant that has been in business since 1925! A long-established Western-style restaurant has an image of having many regular customers and a strong image of being a restaurant that is confident in its taste. Since it is a Western-style restaurant, I went there immediately. 🙋‍♂️ I found out that the restaurant has 110 seats and I also imagined that the turnover rate would be fast if I imagined that I would pay the bill immediately after eating, which is a common practice in popular restaurants 😂. And so, the omelette I had this time was... The omelette I had this time. Because there are many people who prefer the old taste It is a stubborn omelet that has not changed since its establishment, from 1925 to 2019, and still tastes the same! We have faithfully followed the recipe since the establishment of the company. The inside is moist and the eggs are fluffy. But I digress... After finishing the meal, I paid the bill on the first floor. but from the counter seats on the first floor I was told that the men in chef's hats, smelling like veterans, were seriously making omelette rice. I cried when I thought that even after retirement, they are still working for everyone. Besides omu-rice, there is another popular menu item on the plate: "kushikatsu" (skewered pork cutlets)! Thinly pounded beef thighs are deep-fried to a crisp and served with a special sauce or.... The set menu that includes both of these popular dishes is the one we had this time 😊. The taste of such omelette rice is First, I took a bite of the rice, by itself, of course! Then, to my surprise It was supposed to be ketchup rice. It tasted like fried rice 🤔. Of course it's good, it's like a new kind of omelet 🤔. As for the eggs, they were fluffy and the original sauce was sweet, bringing out the sweetness of the eggs even more 👍. The sauce was sweet sauce 😁. And the kushikatsu, also good 😆. If I were to put it in a simple way, it's like the kushikatsu I've had in Shinsekai 👍. Crispy batter on the outside and the meat is so tender that you can cut it with a spoon 😁😁. The sauce was on the table and I poured it on. Personally, it was better without any sauce 😊. It was a pretty big omelette, but I ate it in one bite 😊. Omelette rice is good after all ✌️

I always saw a line out the door. I visited for the first time after lunch. We were able to get in smoothly for the time. Since it was my first time, I got the "Omu Rice & 3 Beef Kushikatsu" set, which was one of their most popular dishes. The omelette rice is without any ingredients, The sauce on the rice was delicious and the fluffy egg and rice alone were delicious enough. The fluffy eggs and rice were delicious enough. The skewers were soft and the batter was crispy and delicious. I would like to try their other items again.

Meiji-ken @ Shinsaibashi I had omelette rice 🥚 on my last visit to Osaka. A long-established Western-style restaurant in Osaka, established in the first year of the Showa Era. (But the name of the restaurant is Meiji ← extra care w) Highly rated 3.55 on the food log ✨. I don't remember if it was in Rurubu or Maple, but it was in a guidebook of Osaka, so I thought "I have to go there 🏃💨" and went there with my friends (●´Ω●) The omelet rice is a type of rice with no chicken, onions, or other ingredients. It tastes like ketchup and sauce, with a concentrated flavor, and the rice is fully fried. ❤️ The eggs are very simple. Not too tender, not too thin, just the right thickness😊. I love this kind of simple omelette rice from a long-established restaurant, it makes me feel nostalgic 💕. It's a must-try for omelette lovers. ❤️
