A Relaxing Izakaya with a Nostalgic Showa Atmosphere

Takohachi is an izakaya in Jimbocho that exudes a nostalgic Showa-era vibe, providing a cozy atmosphere for its visitors. The extensive menu features a variety of dishes, including sashimi and fried chicken, all prepared with care and deliciousness. Particularly enjoyable are the changing methods of alcohol service and seasonal dishes that add excitement with each visit. It's a calm space for adults.

The small interior has a calm atmosphere that is pleasant. While gazing at the sign posted on the wall, the ordering method of writing on paper makes it fun to choose. The sashimi is fresh, and the horse mackerel, in particular, was satisfying with its firmness. The handmade shumai topped with green peas is even more delicious when dipped in mustard. The white miso stew and the hearty mushroom hot pot are served hot, and the attentive service is appreciated. You can enjoy your drink slowly at the counter, and the retro bottle cola vending machine adds to the ambiance.
