My favorite French restaurant for family events. The food is not too glamorous, not too casual, but moderately elegant. The food is delicately seasoned and each dish is beautiful.
They say that "people don't swear when they are eating good food," and I think they are referring to this kind of food. The food, of course, makes you feel happy from the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave. This is a French restaurant that I would like to visit even outside of family events.

【Chiba Sakura】
A single-house restaurant located in the suburbs of Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture.
A first visit to a top-class restaurant that has won the Tabelog Gold award.
The owner, Mr. Sugioka, overflowing with love for his hometown Chiba, explains the details of each dish as it is served.
Before starting the course, I was immediately impressed by the wonderful idea of serving water in glasses with ice.

The excitement of not being able to imagine what will come from the menu names, and the interesting lack of order in the descriptions.
The course, which includes three secret dishes not listed on the menu, totals over 20 dishes and lasts about three and a half hours.
However, that time feels fleeting, as the chef's meticulously crafted worldview is overwhelming.
I am happy to have encountered a restaurant that evokes emotion after a long time while exploring new restaurants in Japan.
The food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the staff's service were all impeccable, and I was able to spend a wonderful time. I had a one-plate lunch, and each item was carefully prepared and thoughtfully designed. In particular, the sauces for the vegetables and the fried items were finished with a gentle flavor, and although it was a bit rude, I ended up finishing everything without leaving anything behind, haha.
Next time, I want to try other menu items too!!

An izakaya where you can enjoy a variety of dishes and a special experience
Torijou Narita is a popular izakaya in the area known for its unique culinary experiences. In the spacious banquet hall, you can enjoy a diverse menu alongside a rich selection of local sake, including melt-in-your-mouth chicken skin salad and takoyaki Russian roulette. With pleasant music playing, this establishment offers a relaxing atmosphere that is worth a visit.
A menu rich in seafood delights and heartwarming service for seafood lovers
Sushi Men-dokoro Daikyou Shisui is renowned for its delightful and diverse menu. Particularly eye-catching is its overwhelming seafood bowl tower, which has become a sensation on social media. The restaurant offers not only meals but also all-you-can-drink plans and a variety of desserts, ensuring satisfaction for all visitors.
Mekiki no Ginji is a vibrant izakaya where you can enjoy hearty seafood dishes and a diverse selection of drinks. The interior is bustling with an atmosphere reminiscent of a fish market, allowing you to grill fresh seafood right on the spot. You can expect to spend a fulfilling time enjoying delicious food.
I made a reservation and was welcomed all the way to the entrance. It seems they buy a whole cow, and the rare cuts are reasonably priced. They also cooked it perfectly according to my preferences, and the three of us shared various cuts and enjoyed them deliciously.

A long-established Japanese restaurant where you can savor river fish
Nishikiya is a long-standing restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine centered around river fish. The spacious interior offers a view of a well-maintained garden, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a refreshing and open atmosphere. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the famous eel from Inbanuma, known for its taste and generous portions.
There is a parking lot so you can come by car. When you enter the restaurant, the staff welcomes you cheerfully and makes you feel comfortable. The Kanto style oden is very well seasoned with broth, and I was especially impressed with the tender chicken wings and daikon radish. The sashimi is a seven-piece set, and each slice is fresh and the fatty tuna is very tasty. The pork fillet cutlet set meal is tender and goes well with the savory garlic miso. The menu is rich in grilled and deep-fried fish, and any order is highly satisfying.
A restaurant with handmade soba and warm hospitality
Magokoro-an is known for its handmade soba and warm hospitality. The interior has a relaxed atmosphere that blends a soba shop with a café, where you can also enjoy homemade sweets and drinks. The freshly made soba has a firm texture, and its deliciousness spreads with every bite. The fried chicken is also exceptional, making it a popular item for takeout.
We visited for lunch on a weekday, and we were the only group when the restaurant opened at 11:30 a.m. We arrived just in time, but the restaurant was almost full. The salad bar includes a salad bar and each person must order one meal, but there was a watermelon and a melon in the salad bar that said "Grandpa's watermelon" and was very sweet! Especially the prosciutto pizza! The prosciutto pizza was not too salty, but had a lot of prosciutto on it, and I thought it was cheap at only a little over 2000 yen. The location of the restaurant is a gravel parking lot on a slightly elevated hill, so be careful when entering.
It is a store that I want to revisit again.
