The variety and quality of the food was impressive. The amuse started with princess peel of morning bamboo shoots, and the 14 tapas included udo and ice plant stick salad, tea beans, and tomatoes-on-tomatoes. Plated dishes were also offered in 11 varieties, including homemade ham with only salt, pickles, marinated strawberries, fresh onions baked in the oven for two hours, potato salad, and fried small potatoes. Fish dishes included thick sago fish, cream of cabbage soup with no dairy products, and rice salad in the style of temari sushi.
