This is a store that we visit every year, filled with various family memories. Even after my father passed away, I feel like I want to bring him along in spirit, so I make it a point to visit during the Obon festival. It is quite a popular restaurant, so thanks to the reservation, we can enjoy delicious eel smoothly, and everyone is very satisfied.
Since there was natural eel, I compared it with regular eel.
I was surprised at the different taste!
Both were very tasty ^ ^.
The seats were spacious and the service was pleasant and relaxing.
I would like to visit again.
In a quiet cafe located within the premises, the atmosphere is very pleasant. There are tatami rooms and a fireplace, allowing for a relaxing time. The light-colored, thin soba noodles are elegant, and they pair well with tempura, mountain vegetables, seaweed, green onions, and freshly grated wasabi. The coffee is rich in aroma, with a good balance of acidity and depth, allowing you to enjoy the aftertaste. The tea is served in a teapot with beautiful cups, making it enjoyable along with the vessels. The handmade cheesecake is also rich, allowing you to leisurely savor an extraordinary moment.
Founded in the first year of the Showa era, Konno-ya is a beloved establishment in Tome City, known for its hidden charm and handmade soba. The thin noodles have a firm texture and rich flavor, best enjoyed with a robust dipping sauce. The warm hospitality of the elderly owner makes it a place worth visiting. It's also an ideal spot for family gatherings or private moments.
The smiling staff welcomed us, and we could relax in a sunken kotatsu seat. The menu is extensive, with enticing options like the Neapolitan plate, katsudon, and miso ramen. This time, I chose a one-plate meal centered around a hearty Neapolitan pasta. Adding grated cheese to the umami of the bacon and mushrooms enhanced the richness, and the freshly fried shrimp tempura and cream croquettes were crispy. Even the accompanying salad and soup were carefully prepared, and I was impressed by the sweetness of the white rice. I left feeling full in both my stomach and heart, and I couldn't help but hum happily on the way home.
